Handcrafted near Cusco, Peru on a small farm dedicated to preserving Quechua traditions, this Copal incense carries the warm, resinous aroma used in ritual and ceremony for centuries.
Copal, a sacred tree resin native to Central and South America, has been burned for spiritual cleansing, meditation, and connection to ancestral practices. Its rich, earthy fragrance creates a grounding atmosphere, perfect for ritual use or simply bringing intention into daily life.
Each box contains 6 incense bars, handcrafted with care and respect for traditional methods.

Founded in 2012 by Vinicius and Carolina Vieira, natives of Brazil. Incausa is a unique social entrepreneurship venture connecting indigenous artisans of Brazil and Peru with the global market. Their model is both for-profit and not-for-profit—retail sales of fine soaps, incense, skin oils, and handcrafted wares sustain the business, while wholesale proceeds from indigenous-made goods are returned entirely to the makers. Incausa works directly with communities such as the Xavante, Yanomami, Mehinako, Yawalapiti, Kraho, Cinta Larga, and Kayapo, fostering economic autonomy and cultural preservation. All non-indigenous goods are sourced from fair-trade artisans in Brazil, Peru, Nepal, India, and USA. What began with hand-bundled soaps in a Brooklyn suitcase now reaches customers worldwide, offering the chance to be part of a sustainable chain of commerce that honours heritage, craftsmanship, and shared humanity.
